Create Your Own Spa With Soy Candles

Relaxing with soy candles can be easy

After long hours of working you really deserve to take at least 30 minutes to relax.  I know however your days are long and it seems that there just is not enough time.

Instead of taking time out of your busy schedule, you can create your own spa atmosphere with just a few simple steps.

  1. Make sure you tell everyone that you need some relaxing time.
  2. Tell your family that no one is to knock on the door and disturb you.
  3. If you have to put a Do Not Disturb Sign out, make sure that everyone in the house knows that this is your uninterrupted time.
  4. Run a hot tub of water.
  5. Make sure that your windows and doors are closed.
  6. Gather a couple of Lavender scented soy candles and light them.
  7. Put on some soft relaxing music and enjoy.

Taking time out of your busy day is a must in order to allow your body to rejuvenate.  You owe it to yourself and your family will be happy that you did.

  1. Hi Ria~ visiting from the blog challenge!

    Sounds awesome! Now, I just need to find the time….one suggestion or at least one I would need. Ear plugs. Without a doubt, my daughters would find me even if I put out the do not disturb warning! :)

      @Michelle – The blog challenge is going to be fun, thank for visiting. One suggestion, you could always wait until they were in bed. That way it is quite and the lavender would help you unwind from the day.

      @David – I could not agree with you more. Remembering and doing is a fine art!

  2. Personal quite time is the most important time of the day. Remember that in order to take care of others and the opportunities that the day presents, you need to be in a positive frame of mind. The best way to achieve a positive frame of mind is through self introspection and quality personal time. The create your own spa idea sound like the perfect way to enter into a positive frame of mind. Enjoy!!!

  3. I am so with you on that, we all need time to relax and creating a spa moment is just the thing! I used to LOVE relaxing with candles and taking baths and such, but have been so busy lately, I just haven’t taken the time. Maybe you will inspire me this month.

      Jeanine;
      I think we all fall into the “every day routine”, before we know it, bed time has passed. Schedule some time with you. You deservie it.
